hi guys,
this is the infosys paper given in iitd. it  got three parts. so far i
have recieved only two and thus sending you both in subsequent mails.

     Here is the modified Paper - I ,in soon I send the Paper -II and

    PAPER -I
   
    1. A frog climbs a wall of 30mts. during daytime it climbs
      3mts up and during the night time it slides down by 2mts.
      How many days will it take to climb the wall.
    Ans.28
   
    2. A truck travels at 65kmph and a car at 80kmph.If they are 1500
     meters apart how far they will be before one minute they crash?
    Ans.250meters (Verify)
   
    3. 4 boys Hank,Bill,Jack,Tom are playing Tug-of-war.Hank can
overpull
     Jack and Bill together.Hank and Bill can just hold Tom and Jack.
     Neither will win.However Jack and Bill changed their places then
     Tom and Bill won rather easily.Of the Four boys give their names
     in Descending order of strength.

    4. A,B,C,D,E,F,G are given numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6.No Letter can
     can take two values

    5. A young woman attending a party was introduced to 4 men in rapid
     succession.As much as such gathering,their names and professions
     were told.Unfortunately she was affected with some what faulty
     memory Half an Hour later she could remember only that she met
     Mr.Brown,Mr.White,Black,Green among they
photographer,grocer,banker
     singer. 4 clues are given.
   
     Clue 1. White approach Banker for loan.
     Clue 2. Brown met Photographer.
     Clue 3. The Singer is friend of White but they have no Business
             dealings.
     Clue 4. Neither Black Nor Singer met Green before the party.
   
     Form the pairs.
    Ans.White - Grocer,Brown -Singer,Black-Photographer,Green-Banker.
   
    6. Tanveer & Kunwar went down at a descending escalator.The
escalator
     going down at a constant speed.Kunwar walked down the steps and
had
     to cover 50 steps to reach bottom.Tanveer on the other hand ran
down
     the steps of escalarator hence had to take 75 steps to reach the
     bottom.Actually Tanveer took 3 steps in same time it took for
Kunwar
     for 1 step.How many steps would be visible when the escalator is
     stopped?
   
    Ans.100 steps.
   
    7.  5 people A,B,C,D,E are related to each other 4 of them make one
     true statement each as follows:
   
      1.B is my father's brother.
      2.E is my mother-in-law.
      3.C is my son-in-law brother.
      4.A is my brothers wife.
   
       a.Who made each of the 4 statements.
       b.How the people are related?

     crime committed.But swore to hearing an altoroetion followed by a
     shot.After a lengthy trial the murderer committed was convicted
     sentenced to death to be hanged.

       *) Warren was the last of six to see Forber alive.
       *) The policeman testified that he picked up Graham near the
place
          where the body was found.
